Ward Diesel Filter Systems was established in 1987. Henry Kaeser patented the NO SMOKE exhaust removal system in 1989. The apparatus-mounted system provided a "source capture" alternative to the old way of addressing the problem with hanging hoses. In 1999, John H. Meier acquired the company. Eight years later, he introduced the NO SMOKE 2 product to address dangerous exhaust gases from engines manufactured under new 2007 emission standards.

Ward Diesel Service Technicians will work in any facility deemed appropriate by the customer, and will provide all necessary equipment. Ward Diesel Filter Systems manufactures and installs all NO SMOKE and NO SMOKE 2 systems. No dealers or sub-contractors install our systems. We stand behind our products with a 1-year limited warranty and ongoing customer support.
